Russia's Rosneft says to invest over $2 bln in Egypt's Zohr in 2018-2021 - REUTERS

MOSCOW - Russia’s largest oil producer Rosneft will invest more than $2 billion in Egypt’s Zohr gas field in the next four years, the company said in a presentation on Tuesday.

It also said the production plateau at the field, where Rosneft may increase its stake to 35 percent, is seen at 29 billion cubic metres of gas a year.

Naftogaz seeks to conduct independent audit of Egyptian project for possible sale - INTERFAX

National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy intends to attract an investment and banking advisor who will assess how much the company can receive from sale of its assets in Egypt, Naftogaz Commercial Director Yuriy Vitrenko has said.

"He will assess real offers and how much [buyers] are ready to give for this project. We will compare it with our expectations," he told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.

8 new wells produce 517 MMCFD of gas in H1 2016: Egypt's Oil - REUTERS / AMWAL AL GHAD

Egyptian Oil Ministry announced Monday that eight new wells started production since the beginning of the second half of 2016.

In its reports, the ministry stated that these wells, which are affiliated to different firms, added 517 million cubic feet of natural gas and 2,500 barrels of crude oil to Egypt's national production.

The new wells are located in concession areas joint between International Oil Companies (IOC) and Egyptian oil sector firms at the Mediterranean Sea, Nile Delta, and Western Desert.

The IOCs include Italy's Eni ,the foreign partner of Balaeim Petroleum Company- Petrobel, and Royal Dutch Shell - the foreign partner of Egypt's Badr El Din Petroleum Company - Bapetco.

Delek units report rise in Tamar gas production - GLOBES

Avner and Delek Drilling saw profits rise in the third quarter due to higher natural gas production.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE:AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) reported a rise in Tamar natural gas production in their third quarter financial results. During the third quarter of 2016, the Tamar gas field produced 2.6 billion cubic meters (BCM) of natural gas compared with 2.5 BCM in the corresponding quarter of 2015 and 2.3 BCM in the preceding quarter of 2016, and 2.2 BCM in the first quarter of 2016.

The well also produced 127,000 barrels of condensate in the third quarter compared with 117,000 in the corresponding quarter of 2015, 110,000 in the preceding quarter of 2016 and 104,000 in the first quarter of 2016.
